Tips for Animating in Blender for the First Time

Tips for Animating in Blender for the First Time

If you’re an experienced animator transitioning from Maya, or are just getting started with animation and haven’t yet found your workflow in Blender, this presentation will give you the head start you’re looking for! Sir Wade Neistadt will show you handy workflow tricks for animating characters and objects as you’re guided through some of Blender’s recent animation developments that make animation as powerful as the rest of Blender’s toolsets. We'll dive into keyframe animation workflows, procedural animation tips, and live examples of how to tackle motion capture data in your scene.

That would be my talk description pitch! Keyframe animation will be my focus, but I'll have a mocap suit with me to show that workflow as well! Please let me know if you have questions or want to talk specifics :) Thank you!
